  • "Session" means an individual massage appointment

3. Eligibility and Capacity

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements

  • Not be barred from receiving services under applicable law

4. Service Description

4.1 Scope of Services

moonpetales provides Thai massage sessions designed for relaxation, stress reduction, and relief from muscle tension. We offer three primary session types: Traveler's Recovery Package, Deep Tissue Restoration, and Prenatal Comfort Session.

4.2 Not Medical Treatment

Our services are wellness-focused and do not constitute medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy. Thai massage is not a substitute for medical care. If you have health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare provider before booking.

4.3 Service Availability

Services are subject to practitioner availability. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, with advance notice when possible.

5. Booking and Appointments

5.1 Booking Process

Sessions can be booked by phone (+886 7 757 7268) or through our website contact form. All bookings are confirmed when we communicate acceptance.

5.2 Health Disclosure

You must disclose relevant health information during booking, including:

  • Current pregnancy or recent childbirth
  • Recent injuries or surgeries
  • Chronic health conditions
  • Medications that may affect treatment
  • Allergies or sensitivities

5.3 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible:

  • 24+ hours notice: Full flexibility to reschedule
  • Less than 24 hours: We appreciate advance notice when feasible
  • No-shows may affect future booking priority

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Pricing

Current pricing is listed on our website and confirmed during booking. Prices are in Taiwan Dollars (TWD) and include all applicable taxes.

6.2 Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash and major payment methods. No advance payment is required for booking.

6.3 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Changes do not affect existing bookings made before the notice period.

7. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
  • Provide accurate health information
  • Communicate openly about comfort and pressure during sessions
  • Respect practitioner boundaries and professional conduct standards
  • Maintain appropriate hygiene for sessions
  • Follow post-session care recommendations
  • Inform us of any adverse reactions or concerns

8. Code of Conduct

We maintain a professional, respectful environment. Unacceptable behavior includes:

  • Inappropriate comments or conduct toward staff
  • Arriving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Disrespecting our space or equipment
  • Disruptive behavior affecting other clients

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate sessions for conduct violations, without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by moonpetales and protected by copyright law. You may not:

  • Reproduce or distribute our content without permission
  • Use our branding or materials for commercial purposes
  • Modify or create derivative works from our content

We make no specific promises about health outcomes or symptom relief. Thai massage may provide benefits for many people, but individual results vary based on numerous factors.

11.3 Professional Advice

Information provided by practitioners is educational in nature and does not constitute medical, psychological, or professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for health concerns.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Taiwan law, moonpetales's liability is limited as follows:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific session
  • We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from incomplete health disclosure
  • We are not liable for aggravation of pre-existing conditions not disclosed to us

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by our negligence.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless moonpetales, its practitioners, and staff from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misrepresentation of your health status.

14. Termination

14.1 By Client

You may discontinue using our services at any time. Outstanding payments for completed sessions remain due.

14.2 By moonpetales

We may terminate our relationship with you if:

  • You violate these Terms or our Code of Conduct
  • You provide false health information
  • Your behavior poses risk to staff or other clients
  • Payment obligations are not met

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

15.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

15.3 Informal Resolution
